Job Description: • Responsible to achieve annual and monthly sales and collection goals through efficient management and satisfaction of farmer needs within assigned geography by regular coverage of assigned area • Assists in providing sales and product training to Dealers and their teams as requested. • Proactively support Dealer in generating business as per the defined target by helping secondary sales at the dealers • Achievement of assigned sales quotas by maximizing promotion and sales activity. • Provide frequent market feedback on products, competition and market conditions to reporting manager. • Maintains direct personal contact with all assigned dealers and responds in a timely manner (24 hours or less) to all requests for information or requirements/issues. • When needed, TMs will assist in resolving customer/farmers problems with dealers. • Demonstrates the ability to provide solutions to farmers’ needs in a win -win fashion. • Helps dealers establish effective sales and marketing plans • Has a complete knowledge of all products of the company. • Maintains a personal library of sales and other related materials for all assigned products. • Ensures dealer ROI is met with by taking up campaigns with their help • Ensure all commitments and promises are made with due approvals as per company processes • Creates awareness and good word of mouth for the Companys brand in the assigned areas Competencies, Qualifications and Experience: • Achieve reasonable but aggressive sales results. • Understand the market, the customer and the competition. • Age not over 30 years, preferably married. • Educational Qualification: Graduate in any discipline but preferably B.Sc. Agri. • 2-3 years of sales experience, in Agri products (preferably similar to our companys), telecom or FMCG with a consistent proven track record of exceeding targets. • Good communication skills and presence of mind. With the right attitude and willingness to learn. • Reliable automobile (Two wheeler) and smart phone a must • Have basic knowledge of computer skills • Conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner in all aspects of interaction with channel partners and consumers. KRAs: Top-line • New dealer appointment (Build and maintain a strong network of 25 to 30 good dealers) • Revenue from sales. Meeting all targets set for sales as well as timely collections • Maintain Activity of Dealers – Minimum 80% of outlets under TM should be active • Ensure that all sales outstanding are collected well within the credit norms of the company, currently at 45 days • PJP to ensure all outlets are touched at least thrice a month for the entire assigned area Dealer Management • Ensuring Dealer has enough stocks of all products of the company • Track the season and product requirements and ensure placement of products • Help with TL activities and Farmer activations so as to enable sales of companys products • Dealers stock position and ensure no stock nearing expiry Market Intelligence • Competitors activities, schemes, business models vis-a-vis Company • Pricing of competitive product lines across categories Merchandising all outlets under his area Dealer sales force management Training dealers Reporting on a daily basis to the Area Sales Manager (ASM) on all the above
